FEEL YOUR BEST WITH MY GO-TO TIPS

I’m an all natural kind of girl. I try to be. When it comes to feeling good, I try to do everything the natural way because I am so against putting nasty chemicals and fake crap into my body. To be honest, that will most likely lead to negative side effects and I’m not about that.

Now, I am not a doctor, but I am absolutely obsessed with finding good and natural products that will give me an energy boost to help me stay focused.

Is it just me or is everyone hooked on Vyvanse these days? As someone who was diagnosed with ADHD, I’ve never felt better since I’ve been off of it, and my naturopathic remedies have done far better for my mental state than anything else. Let’s not waste time and get right to it.

You wake up, you’re tired, maybe you didn’t sleep well, or you have lots of meetings, maybe you need to go to the gym and have zero energy. I get it. It’s tough, and turning to natural energy boosts to enhance your mind might just be your solution.

After a ton of trial and error, suggestions that never worked, research that I couldn’t quite understand, I came to my own little conclusion.

You have to find what works for you. Just because certain remedies work for one person, does not mean that they will work for you. I am telling you this to encourage you, not to discourage you. That means if something ( or for the purpose of this post ) a natural product isn’t working for you right now, that doesn’t mean that it won’t ever work. It could honestly just mean that you haven’t found the right products for your body…

So, I have tried a ton of different products, vitamins, I’ve researched what to do, I drink a lot of water now and I really felt like none of those were working for me.

But, I recently discovered a few things that I like and I’ve been more productive with work and my workouts have been better. I’m about to share one sec…

…because I just want you to know that I feel better overall. Like, who doesn’t want that? You know, I work a ton. I have a couple of brands, I have this anti-bullying campaign, my SHE DID IT podcast and on top of that my personal life #whatsapersonallife?

So, I like to stay good and fresh.

MY NATURAL ENERGY ROUTINE

TIP NO. ONE

Of course drinking at least 8 glasses of water per day makes a huge difference, so I’m just going to leave this as the sub-header lol When you are de-hydrated, you are going to feel like shit. So, just drink your water and call it a day. This is a given.

The first thing that I found for a burst of natural energy were these energy gummies by the brand, Emergen-C.

Ever heard of that brand? Ever been sick and poured that packet of vitamins/nutrients into your water bottle? Yes, I chug that crap also.

If you’ve been sick, then you know what I’m talking about.

BUT, you do not have to be sick to take these amazing chewable gummies sent from heaven #isthisreallife

The packaging says “Focus Your Mind and Revitalize Your Body.” First of all, does it get any better than that? It has natural caffeine from green tea, 3 B vitamins, vitamin C and Zinc along with a few others.

Game changer guys. I’m obsessed. I used to just take B vitamins, but I never felt a difference. Plus, you never really know with a lot of these vitamins because sometimes they feel like gimmicks if we are being real…

This stuff gets me going and you have to try it!

I take 2 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon. #easypeasy

TIP NO. TWO

It’s walking #hello

Now, if you don’t work from home and you're at an office or at school, you can make time for this at any point during the day. If you are at an office, sometimes getting up or taking 15 minutes during your break to walk around is enough!

I find that walking allows me to clear my mind. I get super stressed and having the ability to just get out and walk really helps a lot. I get back to work and I feel re-energized #winning

If I DO NOT do it, I continue stressing, but that space to go and walk, get some air and clear my mind actually allows me to create MORE ideas and become MORE efficient in my work.

TIP NO. THREE

You know what puts me to sleep? Reading. Working. Looking at my computer. Watching YouTube videos. Watching TV. Eating sugar.

You know what wakes me up? Blasting the fuck out of my music ;)

Have you ever noticed that listening to rap music when driving to work or club music on your way back from work on a Friday just pumps you up? That’s the idea. Blast that music. Get in the mood. Sitting in silence or hearing others typing on their computer is just the most boring thing ever. I’m not even kidding it puts me to sleep!

…and I prefer to work in silence so it doesn’t even make sense.

BUT, when I get to that point where I’m like, “ok, I need to wake up.” I don’t turn to coffee ( because I am not a coffee drinker ) I turn to music!

Try it.

TIP NO. FOUR

Jump in an ice cold shower or run to cryotherapy. Don’t be scared, but stay in for a minimum of 3 minutes. You will get out feeling awake. Oh, and while you’re at it - make it cold in your office or house! It forces you to stay awake!
